With numerous trails surrounding the lake as well as a boat launch and numerous areas to launch a kayak, Lake Shelby offers a chance for any angler to get in on the action. There are also many rivers and creeks along the Alabama Gulf Coast that provide great Large Mouth Bass action.

Inshore Fishing

One of the most popular styles of Fishing along Alabama’s Gulf Coast is Inshore Saltwater Fishing. Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, Flounder and numerous other species are prevalent along the back bays and tidal rivers offer year round excitement with something always to be caught. With Spring here and Summer quickly approaching, Inshore Fishing is a great option to get out and wet a line.

Cobia, Red Snapper, and Tarpon along with countless other species can all be caught within sight of our white sandy beaches along our coast. Be careful though, Kayak Fishing in the Gulf can be dangerous and not recommended for the beginner!
